    The best signs are “this road will be closed from this date to this date, between the times X until Y” swiftly followed by the sign “lol we lied it is closed right now! Fuck you, take the worst backroad possible because the best diversion was halfway back!”

    Man, I have love my commute recently.

    South of King City the 101 has been “under construction” for at least two years. I have not seen any evidence of any change to the road in that time. Just the 55 MPH speed limit where it used to be 70.

      Isn’t that just the standard status on autobahns? Can’t remember ever crossing Germany and it not being like this.
