Lemmy.ml removed the ability to create communities to (I believe) encourage using other instances. You can create a community on other instances still - like lemmy.world, for example.
And how are you supposed to do that without an account on that other instance? Genuine question.
I don’t want to migrate accounts just to create a community; something that isn’t even properly possible yet.
Lots of smaller instances to make a community on, try to use the decentralized nature of the fediverse
