From Raptor Center of Tampa Bay
This little baby barred owl was on the ground yesterday being attacked by Blue Jays. It sustained injuries on its face and on its feet. Barred owls come out of their nest fairly early and start moving around the tree and on the ground. This poor little one was caught away from the parents for a few minutes too long and the Blue Jays really picked the heck out of his feet… Or something did!
