Love y’all, but on bluesky gen X has been behaving like boomers more and more often. Maybe it has to do with hitting a certain age and becoming “get of my lawn”?

I use 4 feeds:

• Following - full control over who I want to see
• Popular with friends - I use this to find new people since my mutuals are liking these posts
• Booksky - just everything reading related
• GameDev - speaks for itself

What I also like better than Twitter is whenever I reply to someone / quote tweet someone but block them after, other people won’t be able to see the post anymore. I’ve noticed (at least for now) that helps a fair bit against pile-ons and rage baiters. Hope it stays that way.

I’ve been on bluesky for a while (over a year). My (leftist) bubble was complaining about how boring it was for the longest time. Now I keep seeing people complaining about the influx of the “new” people joining. And here I am complaining about the complainers. Oh, to be a human on the internet.

I still use it more than my series S since the pro controller is much more comfortable for me when I wanna play on my TV. I love the touchscreen in handheld mode for simple unwinding games like “stitch.”

You are truly an amazing person! I might follow you up on that, although I think my first appointment will just be assessing what’s the problem since it’s only ten minutes. Woohoo, medical care. I’ll make sure to tell them I’ve been struggling for ten years but didn’t feel taken seriously about my symptoms and anxiety so hopefully they’ll help me out. Although I don’t think so since acetaminophen and ibuprofen has become a meme in this country with doctors prescribing nothing else, lol.
