I’m planning to join but don’t want to join if I’ll see treads there

    No one is currently federated with threads as threads does not support federation at this time. tech.lgbt is not proactively defederated from threads.

    I think ActivityPup isn’t even integrated into Threads yet? On release they said soon, a week later they said it was long-time planning. Haven’t heard about it since.

      @cambionn @Bicyclejohn They’ve gone from talking about ActivityPub support as a thing that is happening “soon,” to something that is “further down the road” and a “long term goal.” If they decide they can sustain the platform without it, I expect they’ll drop the feature.
