Every single character in that movie made me physically angry. Which probably proves your point. It wasn’t anger at Adam, it was anger at the character and his stupid shitty life choices
Uncut Gems is anxiety incarnate. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but undeniably a masterpiece.
I really didn’t enjoy the movie but it was solely for this reason. It made me feel physically sick the entire time. I guess it’s powerful in that regard.
I’ve never understood gambling addiction other than as a gambling-version of substance abuse. Uncut Gems brought it into sharp, uncomfortable, focus.
Maybe I just have a bad opinion but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed almost all of his movies. Not every movie needs to be a masterpiece. Sometimes it’s nice to just watch something that’s relatable.
I unironically love 50 First Dates. It’s cute.
The classic ones are still good, happy Gilmore, water boy, Billy madison, I mean come on. That’s nostalgic stuff right there.

I’m really nostalgic for Click. Really the only ones I didn’t like were grownups and grownups 2. That’s just because I’m a hipster and can’t enjoy things everyone else likes.

Uncut Gems is a two hour and fifteen minute panic attack imo. Very well written/performed/directed though, it earned its 91 on metacritic

Funny People is easily one of the best movies he has ever been in. I know reviews tend to be mixed but I think he does a really great job in that one.
