Don’t like how my skin burns up a little after it, but anything’s better than being chastised for having a fade or bad hair. I often wish i could just have long hair so i wouldn’t need to go, but it itches like hell.

The opinions of people making fun of you for your hair choices don’t matter, the only opinion that does is yours.

Women don’t wear makeup for others, they wear it for themselves because they like the way it looks and the confidence boost that brings. Borrow from their playbook and get your hair cut how you want.

Other than that you might need to switch shampoos or change how you wash it to alleviate that itchy problem. Washing under not hot water is usually the first step since that helps keep some of your natural oil on your scalp. In my case that worked so I stopped there

Thanks but it’s not that :) Fades are considered offensive and are like spiked hair in my culture. It’s stupid i know, but it’s the truth. Bad hair is only light teasing but fades are the real issue lol

It’s only a mild inconvenience for me, but i still don’t like getting haircuts

That’s weird. In the US, some version of a fade is so common it is often referred to as just a “men’s cut.”
