I hit data caps somewhat often. Mine is a terabyte a month, I tend to pirate a bit, but I also really enjoying messing around with technology so its not uncommon to spin up half a dozen PCs with different OS a month, Steam transferring data on a local network has been a godsend for games. To avoid it I often download things on my phones data or on a public WiFi like the gym and then SFTP it. If I hit the cap I will call and ask for the fee to waived, threaten to cancel, social engineer and usually get it thrown off the bill

But are there any actual FOSS ROMs on it?

Not many though, a few Samsung and then the pixel tablet as far as I know and they’re still a bit more than $150 even used usually

I think that doing some soul searching and determining if the friendship you have with the person is something you can continue healthily is a big thing a lot of people don’t do. Then just taking time and distracting yourself with other positive interests that help you feel good about yourself so you don’t do the why aren’t I good enough spiral. Other than that just making sure you don’t continue to push the issue or guilt the person for not wanting a romantic relationship
