@IDKWhatUsernametoPutHereLolol@lemmy.dbzer0.com I know you did some tests with Mandarin as a language, but I can’t see them. I set up my languages to only Undetermined and English though, so that does indeed work.

You can hide specific posts on Lemmy 0.19.4, unfortunately LW is still on 0.19.3
Wait, how? I thought Lemmy default UI had no filter. Are you using Photon, Alexandrite or a mobile app?
It’s a good temporary alternative. Will probably enshittify down the line, but for now it’s okay.
Probably worth crossposting to !politicaldiscussion@lemmy.world
No idea, although I was wondering the same thing.
I just created a thread on !fediverse@lemmy.world , let’s see how it goes
They’re currently set on “USA specific posts in a general community”.
By the way, it’s always curious to me that there is no large instance managed from the USA.
LW and feddit.nl are Dutch
Lemm.ee is Estonian
Feddit.org and discuss.tchncs.de are German
SJW and lemmy.ca are Canadian
Lemmy.blahaj.zone, aussie.zone and Reddthat are Australian
There is Midwest.social but it’s quite small.
Any idea of the potential reasons?
Just trying to avoid this community turning into !nostupidquestions@lemmy.world where all the questions are about the US elections
I’m sorry, I’m not sure I get your comment. If this is a US specific procedure, then wasn’t my point that is isn’t relevant to non US citizens Lemmy users correct?
It might be interesting to crosspost this to !politicaldiscussion@lemmy.world
Also, I know you mean good, but this isn’t relevant to probably a high number of Lemmy users who are not US citizens
Hope you’ll get better soon!
FYI, !patientgamers@sh.itjust.works had a nice thread about OST few days ago
I first subscribed because the concept was cool. Unsubbed the next day because it was flooding my feed
!politicaldiscussion@lemmy.world seems good as it allows self-posts
!politics@lemmy.world for news
Why not reuse !furiouslyinfuriating@sh.itjust.works ?
