Everytime I’ve been in a waffle house (like 3 times) everyone who works there is scrawny as shit, except the cook. He (yes, he) is an absolute beast that looks like it’s easier for him to move the bar out of the way than go around it, or drag a troublesome customer over it by their nose and deal with the problem there instead of having to deal with the inconvenience of “taking it outside”

At wafflehouse you get a front row seat of the cooks ass-crack while they cook your eggs and soggy hash browns. There is no “back” except the one you’re looking at, which, in my mind makes this so much better, because said BF would get to watch his eggs being cooked wrong while staring at his enemies ass-crack.

If this was true, at least. Although I can absolutely see a wafflehouse cook handling customers like this as a proper gentleman should.

Why not go with solar powered cameras?

Agreed, I use a brush to get whatever doesn’t get off by soaking and spraying, then a soapy dish towel for the cleaning. Dish towel gets washed by hand after doing dishes and hang dries, or in the washer with other towels if I remember to grab it.

In our house sponges are only used for cleaning things we don’t eat off of, and those scrub daddy sponges are the worst I’ve ever used at sponging with the worst scrubber for scrubbing.

The effectiveness of the scrapey bit doesn’t change in my experience, it’s just as shitty when hard as it is soft. I’m sure there’s a low hanging pun in there somewhere, but I hate these sponges so much I don’t care to find it. Plus the sponge part is trash.

As an avid apple disliker, they really got a lot of things right with 10.x, with snow leopard hitting it out of the park. Everything from them around that era was slick. If I wasn’t a poor college kid running a 5 year old eBay Thinkpad I would have been sucked into their oppressive ecosystem in a heartbeat.

If you don’t need a laptop, I’ve been having a blast with using mini/micro/tiny business PCs off of eBay. I’ve had zero issues installing Debian on them, and they’re designed to be easy to maintain by IT departments, so Wi-Fi, storage, RAM, and even CPUs are all replaceable. They are mobile CPUs, so if you need the heavy lifting of desktop CPUs, you’d probably need to go with a larger form factor.

I think we had 10 channels growing up in the 90s in Denver. I’m pretty sure 70 might have actually been the max, so the joke was that he connected more channels than we’re possible and it was still all crap.

Check eBay for used business micro/mini/tiny PCs. They’re pretty cheap, and low power consumption. They’re mostly Intel processors, so that’s what you make of it. If I were you I’d look for i3 processors 9th gen and up, i5 and i7 8th Gen and up for transcoding. They can hardware transcode pretty much anything but AV1, vp9, and hevc 12bit but the processors are powerful enough that they can transcode those to x265/264 to a device or two using the CPU without issues.

If you don’t plan on transcoding, I’ve had no issues with a 5th Gen i5 NUC doing server things, but I do offload any processor heavy things to my 7060 micro (8th Gen i7) machine if I want it done quickly.

I am quite familiar with Lora hardware, I’m currently running 8 mesh devices. I’ve done the remote flashing, I’ve also had remote flashing disable devices and needed to reflash over USB.

HMD Vibe. I hate this phone. Bluetooth is terrible, cameras are all trash, it sometimes just doesn’t ring when someone is calling, no NFC, no finger print. Face unlock is slower then just putting in my pattern.

I had the Nokia 8.3 5g just before it that I accidentally took swimming. It was the best phone I’ve ever had. No bloat, everything worked perfectly. I can’t understand how they had that phone, then made this piece of trash.

Maybe you ought to look more into what GNU Radio/SDR is capable of before defending this hill you’re standing on.
