OK, that one got me. Texas is just such a shit state that I didn’t even question the headline. It wasn’t until I clicked so see what dumbass excuse they used that I realized it was The Onion. 🤣

Good thing the world didn’t lose anything valuable.
Depends on how complex it is. Ever see the XML behind SharePoint? 🤮
Plus it is recycled. They would only replace what is lost due to evaporation or after a drain and cleaning.
It’s because his shirt has rainbow colored lightning bolts on it. Homophobes are terrified of rainbows.
66 years later, Neil walked on the moon.
Uh-huh.
Spoiler: It was banging.
Good. Fuck oil and all the scumbags that hawk it.
Up next on SlowMoGuys…

Those states are going to be in a rude awakening when they realize they are broke because the blue states are by far the largest contributors to federal funding. When they cut that off, the welfare state will come crawling back quickly.

That second part isn’t really true. Many cars now have cellular modems in them to provide WiFi and infotainment features. That means there is already a remote access capability in those vehicles. Disabling a modern vehicle with software is easy enough as the spark is controlled by the cars computer. So having a built-in feature to allow a remote actor to limit or disable the vehicle’s spark isn’t a big leap.
Luckily, most articles still mention Twitter because X is such a stupid fucking name. So I bet blocking on the word Twitter would still remove 90%.
So then that leads to the question: why is lemmy.ml run by a bunch of prudish babies?
I had YouTube TV from the beginning. $14/mo. Great deal. It had everything we needed, mainly local broadcast stations plus the major basic cable channels, to supplement our streaming services. Then they kept adding and adding, raising the price each time. I finally looked at what I was paying last month, $80. My son had one show he watched on ABC and I would record football in the NFL season. Not worth $80/mo. Too bad. I would really like that $14/mo service again. It was all I needed.
Genuinely curious, I was read that the Pebble was so great. Why so? What about made everyone like them so much?
