Vimm’s just got a ton of games taken down too. They’re still up, but at a significantly reduced capacity.

I tried Linux as a daily driver for a couple months last year. I distro hopped quite a bit in that time and ended up settling on Manjaro. It was a pretty good experience over all, the only reason I switched back is because I couldn’t get mods to work with Guild Wars 2 without crashes, but every other game I played worked fine and I don’t really play GW2 anymore. So when support for 10 drops next year, I’ll probably go back to Manjaro.
I’m not a Linux guru by any stretch of the imagination, but I’m a pretty big gamer and I daily drove Linux as a sort of experiment for a few months a last year. I went with Manjaro and had a pretty enjoyable experience.
AI has no place in the world of art. It’s soulless and depressing.
Old as it is, a lot of his points still hold water. AI interpolation still shits all over artistic intent. Shit looks awful.
And the after all that work, the finished product still looks worse than the original. Make it more obvious that you didn’t watch my link.
Ai upscaled animation is trash
Yes, because there are definitely more options than waste your years trapped in wage slavery. 🙄
I’ve not read ‘B’ is for Burger personally, but The Shining is one of the best novels I’ve ever read. I always used to think that Stephen King must have fundamentally misunderstood something to dislike the film as much as he does, or that it was simply a matter of the book always being better than the movie, but after reading it, I no longer have any confusion as to why he feels the way he does. I still love the movie, Kubrick was an artist, but it pales in comparison. I can’t recommend it enough.
It at it’s worst in my opinion with streaming services like Netflix and Hulu. They’re all starting to get so fragmented that they’re not much better than just paying for cable anymore, and that was their whole appeal to begin with. Now you have to sub to like 3 or 4 different services to get all the content you want (sometimes more) and they all seem to be phasing out their ad free tiers. It’s like they forgot what made them so popular to begin with.
“We think there is a fundamental misconception about piracy. Piracy is almost always a service problem and not a pricing problem. If a pirate offers a product anywhere in the world, 24 x 7, purchasable from the convenience of your personal computer, and the legal provider says the product is region-locked, will come to your country 3 months after the US release, and can only be purchased at a brick and mortar store, then the pirate’s service is more valuable.”

Bro what are you talking about. Christians have been the majority forever. Not believing in God makes you the outlier, not the other way around.
If they’re looking for large groups who want to “indoctrinate and sexualize” children, they need look no further than the church
Yeah that’s new to me. I have hundreds of movies since I run a Plex server for friends and family. Very concerning.
You should check out Hell House by Richard Matheson. Stephen King called it “The scariest haunted house novel ever written” and that’s coming from the guy who wrote The Shining. (Also read The Shining if you haven’t already)
It’s based on Kurtzman’s story and Rodriguez directed it, but Tarantino wrote the screenplay.
Disgusting. Take your racist bullshit somewhere else.
Yeah I’ve been playing it all weekend, I made this post the morning before EA went live
Truly the end of an era
