Remember when Eli Lily lost billions because an account with a blue check mark pretending to be them said they were giving insulin away for free?

Then stop beating the “it’s all hopeless” drum. You’re certainly not going to change my mind.
You sound like an ad for advertising. I’ve seen the studies and I think our relationship with companies is changing. I trust people/groups/companies very differently than my parents and grandparents do. To just give up… Fuck that.
That’s the spirit
People are abusing Google’s ad distro platform to get malware onto people’s machines. I see Microsoft signed up for the same firestorm of possibilities.
On a bigger scale, I think it’s all wasted money. Maybe its the autism, but the more I see a company name, any company name, the less I want it in my house.
With even the FBI recommending adblockers maybe ads aren’t the thing we should prop up our economy with. They don’t work, people hate them, and now even passively ignoring them isn’t an option. But I don’t know if the world can operate on the Patreon model.
Pay your damn employees
I think a lot of these started showing up as a way for the LGBTQ+ to label themselves in a “if you’re going to use labels, let me be clear and define myself” sort of way.
If they do another one for bigotry, I’d send it to my parents.
My most recent complaint is about index mappings. I have 2 types in 2 different indexes that each have a field with the same name. One index has a hand written mapping. The other index is currently under active development and doesn’t have a mapping for it yet so it’s built automatically. When I insert into the index WITHOUT a mapping, the index WITH a mapping changes the field into a keyword and no further queries against the index WITH a mapping work. This also happens if I insert into the index WITHOUT a mapping before the other index is created. Why does the index WITH a mapping change?!? WE WROTE THE MAPPING FOR A REASON BUT ITS IGNORED!?!
At first I just thought you hated women, but your problem is much worse.
I’m glad to hear you’re having issues fitting in.
