In my experience yes, but some planes ive notice they turn back on each time there is an announcement, so depending on how many it can be annoying. Eother way advertising is a cancer that plagues our lives more and more.
I’m really confused, everyone seems pissed about this, but if you understand what they are up to, it actually is a very privacy focused way to allow for interest based ads. Like I get if you understand that and feel like all interest based ads are evil, sure. But at the same time the ‘free web’ is built on advertising. Nobody is offering an alternative.
Willfully ignorant until the end. single browser for everything will be worse for sure
lol, I’m here for it.
Is Ubisoft just like…. Enjoying shooting itself in the foot? Haven’t they suffered enough scandals?
That’s hilarious, omg
Well they cut costs by 25%! Great job all around!
None for unity, but I have tons for the employees. Company execs made some dumb decision and now they are losing their jobs.
lol, ‘recommendations’. They give notifications for whatever random new pop thing has dropped. Like why? Almost nothing to do with what I listen to. Ah well. I was going to give YouTube music a try but I’ll read up on this thread and do some research and see what really happens.
I’ve been trying it because I wanted to support the artists more than Spotify, but the app is… not very good in my experience. :(
The American public. Because it will be yet another in a long line of ‘leaks’ that seem to go nowhere. Powerful people will continue getting away with it.
Security now
Awesome, thanks for the source!
What I wonder about is if the push notifications are ‘sent’ anyway, ie through the network and the phone just doesn’t do anything with them? Does anyone know?
Yeah, I get that I wish they had done rcs earlier or whatever. Like I get not opening iMessage up, but at least support the best standard out there would be nice. MMS and sms are garbo
Hard to say. I think some eu stuff might have pressured a bit
They uh… are going to support rcs very soon so…
I have proton vpn. I like it so far
Good news, looks like they have an app that you can check and see which bars to avoid! Hahaha
