So in terms of calling on wizards or diviners I’m on good terms with, there were plenty of them, but all of them (along with most of faerûn) died in a catastrophe caused by a former friend of the party. There is a library with important resources on magical threats and general magic though, which may still be standing among the ruins
While this catastrophe started and progressed, the party timeskipped 100 years or so. The warlock was out of the timeskip (or so we think), and is unlikely to have kept any copy of the pact over the years
A wish is probably the best way to go about it, but the pact may have included some sort of clause about de-aging, considering the warlock is human and should not have lived 100 more years and hardly age at all.
I’ll discuss the plans with the DM and see where that gets us, hopefully there are no unforeseen consequences to the characters!
I was always under the impression the patron would get pissed, I also figured that we could probably beat the patron in a fight since we know have obtained the most powerful weapons, spells, and armies in existence. (We suspect the patron is tiamat). We think it would be slightly risky but the party would probably win without losses
I just don’t want them to take this, use it on some proprietary code and make money/mine data
They can’t make your code proprietary, but they can still steal peoples data and make money all they like with your code, GPL has no privacy clause
The drive is formatted, but it has no data on it. They’re both the same size
Oh thanks. I swapped them, the new Drive doesn’t show in the boot menu but it is marked as a higher number than the the old one. Will windows install to the new drive?
How do I install grub on it?
Just a quick question, will I need to do this every time I want to boot into a different OS?
Oh that makes sense. They’re both nvme of the same size so I could do that. Thanks! I’ll give an update
What do you mean by swap them around, and what do you mean by interface?
I should note that after noticing it wasn’t detected by the boot menu, I formatted as NTFS. It is detected in the list of drives that the bios has however
doesn’t pushing to github (and probably a selfhosted equivalent) require ssh to do without entering your password every single time?
Never mind I can see it’s installing the newer kernel
So I take it I probably shouldn’t update
Update: so I’m updating on a kernel 6.5.6 backup which still works, and I see this when I run dnf upgrade
When I’m booting Nobara live, my CPU locks up multiple times. It only happened once but I doubt trying again will solve it without any change
I’ve been using Ubuntu for a while, I just can’t go back after using a dnf based distro for a week
So where is the bug report? The kernel or gdm?
It’s the same problem, that was actually how I first noticed it
I’ve tried rebooting it like that. I have a latest gen and GPU so that may be it
Oh, well thanks for clarifying that. In that case, assuming both are accompanied by a party of a level 20 rogue with fudged stats and a ton of proficiencies and expertises, a level 20 druid with normal stats, and a level 20 barbarian, who would you give a better shot at defeating tiamat?:
