All of lemmy seems to have slowed down massively. The “active” sort shows the same posts for days in a row, and the “hot” sort is now as slow as “active” was before (same posts for a couple of hours to a day at most).

It really seems like there are like 80% less active users than just a few weeks ago.

I use mega for all my cloud storage with auto syncing, and you can choose whatever folders you want to be synced. Agreed that it’s pretty cool. The vast majority of on-stage demos like this are faked, but it’s not usually because they aren’t long enough into development that they just can’t do it any other way. And as long as what they show is what you get, which is the case here, I think it’s fine.

I live in the larger city right next to the town/urban area where the Midgård company is located. I had only vaguely heard about them before and didn’t know where they operated from. I found a disturbing amount of people living very close to me (geographically) that are in the register. I’ll be sure to spread this and hope to get them to be known nazis by most people around here. Absolute filth… I haven’t been able to go through the whole list yet, but I both really hope and really hope not to find someone I know on it. It would be nice to blow up the life of someone like this, but at the same time, it would suck to find out that it’s someone you know. I’m very left leaning, and so are most people in my life, and in this country, my city and especially my part of the city in general, but it’s of course impossible to really know stuff like this about everyone you come in contact with.

Going to follow this closely and really wish to see some nazi fucks get found out by others around them and have consequences rain down on their pathetic lives.

Well written on both parts, and it’s often a combination of both. When you have mental health issues, it can also be harder to get stuff to make a shower or anything else nicer. Be it issues doing laundry, so you don’t have completely clean towels and/or fresh clothes to put on afterwards, or having shampoo, conditioner, etc.
I often get stuck because I haven’t showered, haven’t been able to force myself to do laundry, and/or forgot to buy products. Then you really don’t want to leave your home because you get anxiety over others seeing or smelling you, so you’re just stuck with that anxiety for days until you manage to do anything about it.

Are you not aware of people in general? MANY think it’s “cool as fuck” and those demonstrations bought them more than any sales tactic other car makers use. Imagine the stereotype of cavemen going “strong thing good, make woman want me, me want strong thing,” and you got a good idea of a disturbing large part of humanity.
