I wonder what is the percentage of nuts tech ceos.
Seems to be abnormally high
The whole point of Linux is to be a FOSS kernel/OS, that’s it.
Anything you want to (legally and morally) do with it is fine and you should not have to conform to arbitrary limitations set by others.
If you think that Linux is only for tinkering, not only are you completely wrong (since most machines running Linux are meant to be stable and not tinkered with, think servers, iot, embedded devices, etc) you are also missing the point of FOSS, since it aims to give the user freedom to do as they see fit, which includes preferring stability and security over tinkering.

Okay, I guess I just don’t connect to that argument because intent and understanding the artist is rarely a thing I look for in day to day art. 99% of the images I see that make me feel anything do so because of the imagery itself plus sometimes my own experience that might come to mind from it.
Interesting thought about the lie, I guess sometimes it’s hard to determine what is a criticism against a use case of a tech and what is criticism against the tech itself.
Thank you, out of all of these replies I feel like you really hit the nail on the head for me.
It would suck, but I wouldn’t blame others for enjoying a service that they perceive as convenient. Of course I would blame you for theft/piracy, as I think artists should against illegally trained models.
I get what you are saying. But does it not sound like the horse farmers when the car came out? It sucks, I don’t blame artists for fighting it and for hating it, but isn’t it inevitable that it will happen to most jobs at some point? I work in cyber security, and it would suck a lot once AI gets good enough to start taking me out of business, but I also accept that it is inevitable and the solution of fighting against technological advances has rarely worked historically.
Because it means nothing to me. sorry to disappoint but I don’t even understand that argument, I saw plenty of AI images that looked full of life to me, so what does that even mean that it is lifeless? Maybe explain it instead of just being condescending about it.
Wow, thank you, I think this is the first argument that clicked for me.
But it does raise for me 2 questions:
Hopefully, single use plastics would be a ridiculous thing in the future, maybe they will look back at it like we look back at asbestos.
Here is a funny asbestos ad from the past
Soft hands.
Great for massage therapists, surgeons, etc.
Terrible for any physical work such as construction, wood working, etc
Eating boogers!
Why!? Like sure, kids do it but they also eat sand and basically anything they can put in their mouth.
But why would you do it as an adult?! You can pick your nose and the fling it away, or even wipe it on a wall like a psycho, but eating it?? I guess at least it’s keeping the environment clean?
I tested it out, not really very accurate and seems to confuse users, but scraping has been a thing for decades, this isn’t new.
Yes, just imagine it, that is running doom on your hardware
Dementia is just planned obsolescence
While I understand what you are saying, I think that labeling everyone who can’t keep a routine as “lazy” is a bit pointless, and very wrong.
Oh, I do it all manually since I find it harder to keep track when things happen automatically.
But I know it has all kinds plugins for importing transactions
