This is the way. I’m trying to have my camera on-hand more, and add time into essential trips etc so if I want to stop to take a couple of shots I can. I’m also planning my holidays/trips with more of an eye to taking photos, rather than that being incidental to the trip - eg: I last went to Belgrade, which is a cool city, and planned out the interesting bits of brutalist architecture I wanted to see and photograph before I went.

I’ve been slightly obsessed by Love Endeavour (Maurice Fulton Remix) by Alice Smith from 2014, Golden Fool by Gnome (and indeed the whole album), and Cabin Fever by Slomosa (and indeed almost everything they’ve done), both released last year

Storm Darragh took our power out for a week or so, and towards the end we had to top our batteries up with a genny, as the solar wasn’t quite cutting it with the lack of sun and bad weather. Not too bad though, there’s about 10 of us using the power, though we live a fairly low-impact life

I really don’t get why the states drive wrong-hand drive vehicles. It’s just stupid, most people are right handed. I bet you shoot like shit with your left, and if ever there was a country where shooting out of a vehicle that you’re driving was likely to be a common occurrence, it’s the US. Quid pro quo, it makes more sense for the US to drive on the other side.
