So the company x social that existed before the muskrat bought twitter then, right?
@GnuLinuxDude
And to add my experience, that doesn’t even work 100% of the time, if it did I probably would still be using windows

I love valve, but I’m not sure I’m comfortable turning them into such a key way to get software on Linux

Honestly this would be a game changer for me, and I already love my SteamDeck

It’s not just hate for edge (though tbth I *do* hate edge) but a hate for not being allowed to control the software that runs on our devices
Also Microsoft got in legal trouble for shoving a browser down everyones throats before, and clearly learned nothing

Legitimately don’t remember the last time I *had* to use a terminal to install a program in linux, I pretty much just click to install everything using KDE’s Discover store, except for things I download off github which often come as appimages which are practically the same as windows executables in terms of ease of use

Agreed on all points, I didn’t end up finally switching to linux until I got so fed up with the auto update caused issue I was having that I just got rid of windows entirely
And while I at first switched to Ubuntu, I wouldn’t be happy until a few months later when I landed on fedora with KDE
But… Grayjay has a peertube plugin…
Though I’m not sure how well it works
