The worst possible place to live ever! Ridgecrest, CA! Our sales tax is the highest in three counties, out cost of living matches the trendiest neighborhoods in LA and NYC! We have a military base that’s all engineers, and we’re an half hour from Death Valley! We get the hottest recorded tempatures on record every summer! We’re one of the most earthquake prone locations in the world, we live in the rain shadow of the Sierra Nevadas, and off base average income is worst then any other rural location! Our school bus drives are paid less than half of every single school district in the nation! And everyone’s a racist piece of shit republican! Yee haw! . Well, I am from here, and I do actual like most things about living here, but it’s not going to work out much longer. Seriously our fast food locations upped their prices so high with greedflation that no one is bothering anymore. They put up ''now accepting EBT" that’s food stamps, at all of them to try and get people back. It’s crazy. There’s an adittude in town of ‘‘you all work at the base making 6 figures you can pay double for everything! Plus it costs at least $60 in gas to drive out of town to do anything, so if you want it done in town we’re charging $60 extra because fuck you’’ and that’s always been the case, nothing new, but add inflation and stagnant wages, it’s pretty fucking crazy.

I’m not buying eggs for $17 a dozen. I got a flat for $33 that breaks down to $7 a dozen, my kids got real excited about it and ate them all in about a week and a half. They are teens so, they tend to eat everything in the fridge pretty quickly. Anyway. I’m thinking maybe I never buy eggs again. maybe I’ll buy a chicken.

Not as much as you would guess. Managers are the most likely source of serious theft, but at the same time, they are usually being paid $70k-$100k a year and typically have bonus agreements where if the stores profits go up in a financial quarter they get a payout, and there’s a lot of store managers getting more money from their bonus than their payroll, so to motivate theft you need a VERY greedy manager who is going to get more than 6 figures from the scheme or he’s risking his job for less money than his job pays anyway. The most common method is falsified sales, that’s gonna get him his bonus when he knows he’s not hitting metrics and was really expecting the payout. I’ve seen a few managers get caught on this. Next you have the more complex attempts, like filling in fake data for large ticket item deliveries or printing out delivery sheets with no sale in the system at all, then you have the delivery to a known place and you keep the high ticket items and sell them out otherwise profit off the delivery, this can go on for some time before it becomes evident. Sometimes there’s smaller scams like the Walmart managers that were cashing out giftcards, putting them back on the shelf and 100% getting away with it because Walmarts system was probably out of date with modern standards. Then you have the wild schemes like getting free mech from vendors, returning that mech in the system before inventory and getting yourself fired for petty theft before anyone figures out you have stolen several million dollars in comped merchandise that never existed in the first place so no one’s even looking for it. Being fired for theft is a nice master touch, because it caused a ton of confusion when they bring the charges to police. Who are easily confused. But you know. It’s not ALL management and a lot of high theft items are too cheap to be internal theft, spray paint, exacto knives, cheap earbuds, usually it’s a ‘‘I can’t get past the ID check’’ type of theft.

Well Kmart when they were still open, was doing this to drive the company into the ground so the CEO, who owned all the debt the company had personally, could sell the company for all the pieces, land ownership, brand ownership, production and shipping elements. Why other companies do it I can’t imagine why. You’d think all of them aren’t trying to do the exact same thing.

Scam artists can sell it without a prescription as long as they’re calling it an animal product. It’s sold off the counter at any feed store. This is always the scam with these claims it’s ‘‘it cures cancer THEY just don’t want you to know about it!’’ Then they sell you a huge amount of it at a huge markup. This is everything from Monavie (an aqci berry juice), vitamin Mega doses, some completely insignificant ‘‘supplements’’ (I knew a guy selling ox bile capsules with almost no oil or extracts mixed in), then you have all manner of crystals, jade eggs, food processing leftovers like apricot pits, inert nonsense. And I’m not even really mad about it because it mostly ripps off rich idiots like Mel and Joe. These idiots take the same meds from their doctor as everyone else, then ALSO take the snake oil and are convinced the snake oil worked. Joe took a vit C mega dose when he was also taking meds from his doctor for Covid, and he’s SURE the Vit C did something. It’s like how if you have really worn out tires on a car that when you get new tires the mileage gets noticeably better, but then you think ‘‘tire store change tire = 20% lower mph’’ so you take your car back the next day and ask them to change the tires 4 more times because you think it will make your car have -100% gas consuption. All these meds CAN improve your immune system response by removing parasites if you have them, eliminate vit deficiencys if you have them, or remove other micro nutrient deficiencies, all work IF you have the issue to begin with, and studies show the improvement, but taking 1000x the dose of Vit C is just making your pee insanely vit rich, once the deficiency is resolved your body dumps the excess.

Dude I’ve never had a single job that wasn’t for an entity I didn’t find morally reprehensible. I don’t think most people will ever have a choice in this matter. You have to work to eat.
