The blood vessels can be permanently damaged from an erection that long so it tracks.

This is why the Viagra commercials have that “if you have an erection lasting longer than 4 hours” bit. It is a serious issue that if not addressed can lead to permanent damage that can make it impossible to have an erection.

This is inappropriate on so many levels:

• If there are eyes and you touch them it’s wrong.
• If a person doesn’t have eyes touching where they are isn’t going to be a winning strategy either
• If you touch a file in Linux called eyes and create it people will be very confused
• If there’s already an existing file called eyes that’s disturbing. What? Why?

They work great but they are destructive. E.g. dont use on surfaces that shouldn’t have abrasives (glass, granites with coatings)

I love them though. It’s like a super fine sandpaper for some projects.

Find a pair of gloves you love and use Conductive thread sewn in an x pattern a few times. Works great.

Oddly enough no electrical tape on twist connectors.

They should be tight enough to hold the wires together and adding electrical tape just makes it harder to see if they’re loose or coming loose.

Personally I love WAGOs for that and they’re cheap enough now.

One suggestion. Some of the terminals are wrapped counter clockwise to the screw.

You want them to be looped in such a way that when the screw is tightened the loop is pulled into the screw instead of being pushed away from it.

Now… if you like characters that struggle with trauma. Way of Kings has a very troubled protagonist.

But yeah. As for sci-fi (especially ones that can span years) you might like Alastair Reynolds Revelation Space series.
