This probably also driving the demand for folding phones. Carry a phone, unfold it into a tablet.

You’ll have to get the “must do” category contained. Define it, trim off anything not strictly a must.
Then, sort through the “should do.” How much of it actually should be done? How exactly do these tasks or activities improve your life? How much of it was recommended by someone who doesn’t understand your life or your social circles?
Once those two are managed, then space opens up for the “want to” category.
Or maybe not? Maybe you’re just at a place in life where maintaining a healthy life, healthy relationships, and paying the bills is all you have time for.
I see you found the dangerous Christmas present challenge from the weekly contests
Well done!
Yeah, this line survived a lot longer than it should have.
Fixing safety issues would have to include that sharp front end. Maybe just ditch the entire “stainless” exterior and restyling the whole thing would help with that.
Pretty much start with the battery pack and drivetrain, start over after that.
The fumes and noise of those little engines makes me excited that the battery versions are taking over.
One solution might be to have gaming systems at your house that your nephew is allowed to play when he’s there. Not the nephew’s system at your place, your system that you and him and your brother all play together whenever they visit.
Bonus points if it’s a system you and your brother used to play back in the day.
Very nice!
Similarly: A firefly

Prompt: a macro closeup image of a housefly buzzing along, but the exoskeleton is made of glowing metal. The wings are a blur of motion as it flies. orange and red fire erupting from every crack and crevice in its exoskeleton. blurred indoor background.
From a Sunday lunch through dinner Wednesday evening.
Not a purposeful fast, I just had a huge hours-long meal of endless samples of steak, lamb, and chicken at a Brazilian Steakhouse. Also several large salads, and a small dessert.
So anyway, I just wasn’t hungry for days after that. I didn’t have any constipation, no drop in energy, so I went about my business as usual, but without eating for a few days.
It’s definitely a mistake, but I think it has slipped by because spell check wouldn’t have a reason to mark it, and not everyone uses grammar check, so they think it’s correct to spell it out by the sound of the contraction.
In American English:
I left them know
I’m just leaving you know
No, no, a thousand times no!
You LET them know. You’re just LETTING me know.
Also, they were driving and hit the breaks. Their car needed new break pads.
Just letting y’all know, it’s BRAKES that stop a vehicle.
If the vehicle breaks, it’ll stop, but that’s not the system built into the car that makes it stop on purpose at the press of a pedal.
Oh yeah! Good addition
Speaking to those in the U.S., Your local library has a huge collection of DVDs. Your local thrift shop and eBay have blu ray players (most of which will upscale DVDs during playback) for cheap.
Star wars and Lord of the Rings
I’ve seen enough clips and overviews and “facts about” clips to understand that I am not interested enough to invest the time it would take to watch either series. The story of the production of Star Wars is very interesting, the actual story the movies tell, not so much.
Fall Guy
This movie is so fun! I often like the behind-the-scenes of movies more than the actual movie, so this one is perfect. So many references to other movies, and many many meta jokes built around this being a movie about the making of a movie kept me highly entertained
That one seems like it would be easy to remake with current day components. Keep the display the same to extend battery life, give it smarter internals and slimmer design. That could be the work phone, the texting phone, the going hiking phone, the daily driver that has several days of battery life.
But the more I think about it, a Bluetooth keyboard paired with a normal smartphone would not need its own phone plan and would provide the physical buttons for typing. It just won’t be as cool as that thing.
But a service worker knows lots of loopholes, and they can help you take advantage of them or choose not to bring it up if you’re treating them badly.
English, because word history is fun, communication is important, and teaching kids that language is constantly evolving would be fun.
Thank you for reminding me of Thinkpads. I’d like to track down a used or refurbished one for home use to survive kiddos
I mean… You’re not wrong
