What ticks me off is Stack TV. I pay for it and I still get huge ads on the bottom and right edges, telling me to subscribe to Stack TV.

Very true. I have a couple items at work that don’t work when I pick “at startup” so I usually just go with the event log startup as the trigger nowadays.
Can you set the Jellyfin server service to start with Windows? Shouldn’t need a login then. If not, you can use a PowerShell script that starts the Jellyfin .exe and use a scheduled task to run it when event id 6005 is triggered. That’s the event id created when the event log starts.
This is fantastic. I need a new car but wasn’t in as position to buy a Bolt when they were available. I can hang on for another year or so until the new EUV.
The Bolt was discontinued after the 2023 model. But hey you can buy a new EV Chevy Equinox now starting at $55k >_>
I’m fortunate enough to live near a river with a loop that makes it a perfect lazy river, so that’s pretty much my summer.
Remember what the Conservatives have done at a provincial level, and think of the damage they will cause if federally elected. They’re shutting down the science center and selling the land to a private company to build a spa, trying to sell off the green belt, cancelling the cap and trade program, and failing to provide consumer EV incentives like other provinces.
I bought so many games on sale after I got my first grown-up job, that just ended up sitting in my library while I played the same 3 games. I bought a Steam Deck 6 months ago and it’s been great for clearing out my backlog. I love being able to play games sitting in the recliner instead of at a desk.
This happens though. You can open a can of condensed soup or cranberries and it will pour out in the shape of the can because it’s all congealed together. Canned foods are usually pasteurized in the can and have a lot of preservatives and emulsifiers so that can help “fix” the texture for long term storage.
I started with Jerboa for a few months but I think I’ve settled in Connect now. If I had to pick between Jerboa and Boost though I’d pick Jerboa.
There’s a locally run thrift store in my small town that I donate everything to. I get shirts and pants for a couple bucks and rarely pay more than 50 cents for a book.
It’s around $1700 for a one bedroom where I am. $1359 for a two bedroom sounds like a dream.
How about banning corporations from owning single family homes or thousands of condo units? I bet that would go a long way towards solving the housing crisis. I used to live in a 200 unit condo complex and the majority of units were owned by 3 people who used that majority to push through whatever they wanted on the condo board. An absolutely massive tax on housing you don’t actually live in would help make housing more accessible. Housing shouldn’t be an investment. Nationalize it.
Pretty sure the webs are formulated to dissolve in a couple hours.
I went for “a hearse made out of coffins”
I’d take perfect aim when throwing something. You always hit the garbage can, you’re unstoppable playing darts. You never miss flinging a playing card at your friends.
