  • This is like those silly fake IDs that the sovereign citizen goofballs use, and as such it would fail at being an ID in the same ways.

While not helpful for privacy, the truth is that the only reason a state ID has any value is because it comes from a ‘trusted’ source who verifies the information on it. An ID that isn’t issued by a trusted source has no value, as it would be no different from me just asking the person holding it who they are, they can say whatever they like, just as their printed card could say whatever it likes.

There’s a country in Europe called Ireland.

I don’t know much about the politics and policies there, but what I do know is that if I drop the street view guy there, most places are green and pretty. That puts it pretty high up on my list.

  • There are a few inaccuracies in your statement, but It was clear the whole thing was about money from the start though, you shouldn’t be surprised about this. If you were hoping for AI to be free to you, you should have only been supportive of software that you could run on your own hardware.

Anyway, these companies are in the position of ISPs now, where they have customers, but they don’t want to pay for the infrastructure to support the amount of customers that they have, since they can make the same amount of money without making their customers happy.

None of that helps you… Sorry…
