Tbf it’s kinda a fundamental limitation of electric vehicles vs gas that the energy density of gas is way higher.

Occasionally, when DuckDuckGo doesn’t give good results.
Criminal contempt of business model
Criminalizing something broadly isn’t usually done with the intention of going after everyone who does it, it’s so when they do single out someone they can charge them even if they haven’t actually caught them doing anything wrong (besides the thing everybody does).

Star Wars and Star Trek are really tangential fandoms except for the intersection in the name.

A chubbyemu fan I see
I only let things I trust are secure (e.g. ssh) have access from the internet, other services I hide behind a VPN (e.g. Tailscale).
Most routers have a feature to assign static IPs to a specific MAC address. You can also tell most devices to try to take a specific IP instead of using DHCP.
There are multiple ways to set it up, but it’s very possible to set a specific device to always have the same local IP, which is usually the first step to many self-hosting scenarios.
Neat!
Any chance you could share some resources on how you did it? I’d kinda like to give it a try…
I’ve always been taught if you say “I adjust” before touching a piece then it’s ok to touch it (specifically so you can move an off-center piece into the center of its square)
I’d recommend /dev/urandom instead of /dev/zero
The website didn’t work from US IPs last night, but it’s back already.
Easiest way is to add the game to be launched through Steam, and then you can use Proton.
I really can’t tell what you are talking about.
The issue with hexbear isn’t Marxism or anarchism or communism, it’s apologism for violent authoritarian regimes to the point of insisting on an “alternative facts” version of “history”.
Buy physical media (CDs DVDs and Blu Rays) when possible and burn your own as backups when you get stuff digitally.
Set up a computer as a Linux-based server running 24/7 with Plex or Jellyfin or similar. Even most consumer tier motherboards these days can support many sata hard drives, and you can get ones that are 10Tb+ fairly inexpensively. Set them up in RAID of some form to avoid losing data.
It’s good to have a remote backup as well but that can be expensive and more complicated.
IMO competitive multiplayer games aren’t great for socialization.
I mostly play games to keep up with friends who live far away, and the best games for this IMO are things like Minecraft, but casually playing an MMO or a shooter works too. Getting too into it means you have to focus too much on the game and can be worse for socializing.
Also idk about meeting people this way. I know people who have met online over gaming, but for me I’m mostly playing with people I already met. I will say the closest I’ve come to making online friends was on a public Minecraft server with about 30 regular players over the course of several years.
