It was an asspull example but there are similar cases in the past. Forced arbitration of any lawsuit you present for any reason is bad, be it as simple as their software accidentally bricking your phone or as major as an attempt on your life being ignored by the platform.

TikTok was a state run operation with pretty direct promotion of Donald Trump and the GOP, and Tankies operating for the CCP’s benefit have been all over social media these days. That’s direct support. That’s a huge factor in their victory.

I know this is nitpicky semantics and all, but the party technically was not founded on hate for anyone who isn’t a rich white guy, it was at one point the party of opposition to slavery but after the Civil War ended and reparations began the parties sort of shifted and became moderate and heavily bipartisan until that all changed in the 1960s when Democrat President Lindon B Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and political parties continued to polarize in the rise of the information era until reaching the peaks we’re currently at.
I just use Lemmy on web and it’s always a button at the bottom of every page where you can type in a username or community and even if its on a different instance you see all the relevant actions taken since the beginning of time.
It got seen by over a dozen people with no problem and wasn’t even questioned by four people with a problem, but more importantly it was topical and only insulted people who wish us harm so whether it would have created a discussion or not should be fine unless the mods were Tankies.
I will not lower myself to beg Tankies to be on their Tankie Community, thats beyond stupid.

A Tankie is not a nazi, I never said they were, I said Tankies actively support Nazis, which is true.
I feel like we’re going to have a similar issue a couple of years or decades down the line with Bluesky. People would be better off on the Fediverse instead.
