Does any app which asks for permission to elevate to root work?

You might have to translate the names to what Fedora reposi provide. But this should be a good start

Doesn’t this make sense if someone says it in a sarcastic manner?
Initrd has support to configure the keyboard layout used. Consult your initrd generator’s documentation for this
Yep, that’s what I meant. There’s an org-transclusion package aiming to reproduce logseq’s behaviour but editing from the embedded copy and updating the source isn’t as seamless.
I also use Zotero standalone for bibliography but I wanna move everything to emacs. There’s org-noter and bibliography support in org(roam).
But you’re absolutely right, it’s overwhelming, the amount of things one can do and the learning curve is steep
This is pretty much ditto to my status. I loved logseq’s paradigm of easy linking and transclusion from the journal dumps.
Are you trying to do something similar with org-roam? I still haven’t figured out my way around with the org (roam) ecosystem
It also seems to perform snappier than the main matrix instance
And the soundtrack, it freaking slaps
Code new roman! It’s so cosy, and readable. I am a sucker for fonts with the cursive styled ‘a’
thanks for the reminder! don’t want another potential denvercoder9 situation
That’s just bread
Is this the freaking antithesis of reproducible builds‽ Sheesh, just thinking of the implications in the build pipeline/supply chain makes me shudder
I enjoy old boring movies they can’t stand watching on 1x
Wanna recommend some that left a mark? :)
Thank you for your sacrifice.
Which router did you go for, by the way?
Nice to meet you, Jia Tan
Wow, what’s the context here
This is a common but solvable problem. I’m afk so can’t link the right pages, but look up the LibreOffice and/or consistent gtk/qt theming entries on Arch Wiki
Edit: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/LibreOffice#Theme might be useful. It also links to https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Uniform_look_for_Qt_and_GTK_applications, which is worth looking into as well

But we’re on lemmy
Very solid reasons mentioned by @nobody158@sh.itjust.works in the sibling comment.
Another issue is that they forced people towards top posting which combined with the rise of html email led to the decline of plain text email, which really sucks for not just privacy but also accessibility
I really like email. Something about its free as in freedom nature/protocol fills me up with joy as I fire up my email clients! It’s just nice and warm compared to all the corpo bullshit messengers. Sadly, Google and Microsoft are trying their best to lock down email. But I believe it’s gonna outlast their shenanigans, hopefully. Meanwhile, I have my trusty local email clients to keep me company
It’s been working fine since a couple years ago on Intel. It works on my Intel machines with both old and recent cpus
