I feel so bad for people in my industry who are not leaving the USA. Until I talk to them and they dismiss other options haughtily.

AI’s value is always going to magically meet whatever can be gained from cutting labor, but whether it can actually do anything remains to be seen. Lots of confusion, seems like a million different great opportunities to short-sell.
