Zebra F-402 - I write really small and their fine tips flow great but don’t run. Plus they’re cheap enough that I don’t care when my wife or kids steal them out of my desk.

The best part is every time you hear that latch you can think, “I did that”
WD40 also works wonders for getting sticker residue of glass and metal. Better than goo gone in my experience.
I removed the locks completely and got down in the actual latches. One had been sticking like crazy and after some lube and adjustments it is working great. I’m actually kind of mad at myself for not doing it early. I’ve been fighting with that lock for longer than I care to admit.
I had a plumber come out one time to work on my shower. While he was there he told me my hot water heater was old and needed to be replaced soon. An hour after he left, it started leaking. He swore he only looked at the date and didn’t touch anything. Needless to say I called a different plumber to come and replace it.
Full disclosure this is the first I’ve heard of this and only read the linked Wikipedia article.
With that said I don’t think it was justified at all. Yes her parents sounded overbearing and abusive, but I don’t think that condones them being murdered. She was 24 years old and had been working as a waitress to buy books and crap to make it look like she was going to school. All the while dating a guy who managed a restaurant and sold weed.
Why didn’t she just leave and move out on her own? There were multiple other ways for her to get out of that situation yet she chose murder.
I had a similar experience with RDR2. I knew Arthur was going to die on that last mission. However, I was not prepared for my horse to die. I found the white Arabian around the start of chapter 3, and it was the only horse I used after. On subsequent play throughs I would just grab a random horse before doing that mission.
The people declaring the war are not the same people fighting the war.
Dallas, we actually got hotter than Houston yesterday. But it’s back in the 40s now.
Full disclosure it was 80° F here yesterday
My babysitter was watching a movie where a lady in a car caught on fire and burned to death. When a guy opens the door her burned body lunges at him. Thankfully his sister made him turn it off so I didn’t see anything else. But it scared the crap out of 4 year old me. That night I couldn’t sleep and wanted to go to my parents room. But their room was at the end of this long hallway and there was a big hutch just before their door. Somehow my 4 year old brain was convinced that the “burned lady” was hiding behind that hutch. I was so scared I would not go near my parent’s room for months.
A few year back, I took my daughter to an urgent care clinic. She was around 2 or 3 years old. While in the waiting room their office phone rang and my daughter jumped and went, “What was that?” because she had never heard a landline ring before.
Inserts disk: click, click, click
“fuck, I knew I should have put that on a CD-RW.”
Believe it or not, I recently have to script transferring files to and from a BBS. Got to love working with state governments.
It tastes nothing like OK Soda
For those who are younger than 40 or not from one of the few test market cities - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/OK_Soda
Avenged Sevenfold - Exist is a 15 minute song that is about the big bang all the way to Earth forming and cooling.
American Pie - Don McLean it’s the history of rock and roll from the 50s through the 60s
I always felt like The Batman was just a boring remake of The Crow.
I’ve always felt like Darren Aronofsky makes great movies but absolutely sucks at ending them. Every movie of his, that I’ve seen, I’ve enjoyed up until the last 5-10 minutes. He just makes the most depressing endings, that make me regret watching the movie.
I have a package that has been less than 50 miles away from me for 5 days now. I live at the north end of DFW (Denton) and the package has bounced back and forth between Dallas and Fort Worth 3 times now. One time it made it up to Denton, then went back to Fort Worth. The latest update is it spent 27 hours traveling between Fort Worth back to Denton a 40 mile drive.
Whirlwind - The Gits (recorded in 1993 released in 2000)
The Gits are one of the best bands to come out of Seattle in the early 90s. I feel like they could have been up there with the greats if their lead singer Mia Zapata wasn’t murdered.
This song in particularl is a perfect example of how awesome they were. It has that early 90s Seattle grunge sound but with a more punk edge. They never officially recorded this song and this live recording wasn’t officially released until 2000.
