Who could have predicted that building a movement around getting rid of one person could have any shortcomings.

I believe so. Irecall my dad saying that when he contacted the owner to explain the situation and offer compensation, the farmer said not to worry about it.
My dad once had an engine failure shortly after take off, and had to ditch into a bean field. He was fine plane was only a little damaged. I helped him fix the wheel, and get the plane (well, ultralight) to the highest corner of the field so that he could take off down the hill.
I recall from elementary game theory that the ability to provably bind oneself to an action (ie make a promise you can’t back out of) is extremely valuable in negotiation. It is hugely important in our day to day lives (loans, service contracts etc), but also politics.
The US ability to have people believe their promises has been shredded by Trump (Eg Iran Nuclear Treaty). We just renegotiated NAFTA to the USMCA, and now all of a sudden it’s no good? How can we trust that this deal will last more than 15 minutes? How can we have any sort of partnership with an organization like this?
It’s really disappointing that there is so much opposition to the existence of sogi minority people. My position is that rainbow crosswalks should not be installed in places where people with minority sogi are not safe.
It’s sort of a self selection. We shouldn’t tell people with minority sogi they are safe and welcome if they are not.
there is NO way the US would allow that without things getting much, much uglier.
Or they could you know reverse the tariffs that caused the counter measures…

Sorry, I think it would be more idiomatic to say:
LAX Approach, Canadair Charlie Golf Bravo Eight Niner, sorry: requesting long approach. thanks eh, Over.
But that’s just my two cents as a Canadian eh.
They fenced my son’s school this summer. Previously it was only the playground and field that was fenced. New fence is 4 ft high, no gates, just gaps at walk ways.
At first I was unhappy about it, feeling that it cut the school off from the community. But then my son and I arrived early one day and had his soccer ball, we were able to really play on a lawn that would have been too small without a fence. So I can see that the fence creates more usable space for the school. And I’ve come around.
I don’t know what the NDP haven’t introduced an electoral reform bill
I base this prediction on liberal party performance in the last two by-elections.
Yes, but what makes you think that that could possibly be what’s about to happen?
I think it is far more likely that liberal voters turnout will be down because of trudeau fatigue, this will cost the liberals battleground ridings. I think conservatives will have higher turnout than normal in traditional red seats since there is now a chance of their vote mattering. And I think that will cost the liberals even more seats.

There’s a good chance PP will just get more conservative votes in already conservative areas and still end up with a minority.
What are you basing this on?
I don’t think it’s the current in the tabs that’s an issue, each socket should be rated for the full circuit’s rating, but the ground shouldn’t be in series, always parallel.
What happens if a retailer doesn’t update their SKU codes in time for Christmas and charges GST on items that are GST exempt? But does figure it out before it’s time to make a remittance?
I’m jumping in to ask what you think of my hair-brained idea of taking all these seized boughtback weapons and launching them into temporarily occupied parts of Ukraine and/or disaffected parts of Russia with ~2 magazines of appropriate ammo each. Via idk hot airballoon or something.
Since Russia already has the ability to distribute small arms to anti-Kievans in those areas, I don’t think it significantly increases the risks to Ukrainian forces. Would it hamper Russian operations in any way?
Retaliation can get ugly quickly. Does Toronto still ship its garbage to Michigan?
Although I guess Ford wouldn’t mind if Toronto suffered so he could look like a tough guy.
I don’t give money to panhandlers because I don’t like being solicited. (Also why I don’t buy things at my door, or via telemarketing) however I do support the idea of programs distributing funds directly to those in need.
Listen to your body, assess how its feedback comports with your goals, then use your brain to decide what to do.
We should ask Ukraine if the USA is reliable as a military partner.
