You did.
quote me then. and not fake quote me like a bitch as you did right there either where you imagined I said “they’re the same thing” and tried to will it into existence so your shitty arguments sound more reasonable.
the rest of your comment is from a fever I can only presume because it has nothing to do with my point.
the original comment said that this was not the will of the people and I said yes it is. this was a laid out plan, and even if he distanced himself (as if anyone would believe him) his own promises weren’t different at all. he literally said he wanted to be a dictator day one. deport 20 million. end diversity. and the majority of the people voted for him. 160 million stamps of approval. that’s the will of the American people by a significant margin. that’s how it’s determined. it doesn’t mean every single person.
both. this wasn’t a surprise. he said he’s gonna do it and 160 million people said “go ahead”.
“the people” does not mean everyone. in a democracy the will of the people is determined by the majority. it feels like the 97th time I’m saying this but here you go maybe it goes through this time. must be interference.
yes it’s exactly how democracy works. whoever gets the most votes gets to represent the people’s will. if he had lied about it during the campaign like he lies about pretty much everything I would’ve said yeah this isn’t what the people wanted, he did a bait and switch. but he didn’t. he said he’s gonna do tariffs and be a dictator on day 1, and 160 million people said ok be our lord king please.
not all, again literally no one said that, but certainly not “some”. 160 million of the eligible voters. that’s 68%. it’s a landslide.
