Russia and China are waging a war against the west, and we are standing with our pants down, pretending that everything is fine.
TikTok is a drop in the bucket, but we need to stand up and fight back against those who consider us their enemy.
No need to start shooting, but we should at least give Chinese corporations the same obstacles that they give US&EU ones if they want to do business in China:
Have you ever looked at a map? America can just float anywhere
I would love that. I still use google products, because I was too lazy to switch, a ban would give me the incentive to move to another platform
What in the holy fuck?
I don’t agree with the loosened moderation rules, but at least there is a logical explanation. But removing these 2 color options is just targeted hate towards these minorities.
“You’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy”
What a completely necessary and safe feature
Ok, so this might be controversial, but in these situations I definitely think the people that drove him to this situation should be investigated (and if needed, held accountable) by the police.
We put this enormous personal responsibility on everybody, that they should be able to manage anything that life throws at them, and give a free pass to bullies to hurt and destroy others, instead of realizing some people have more fragile souls and less resilience. We don’t need to turn our lives upside down to protect them, but at least we could make sure you can’t go around hurting them without repercussions.
If we want to treat mental health as seriously as physical health, then why is this accepted? A seemingly big hearted person, driven to suicide by the organizational politics of a few more savvy individuals. How is this any different, then the strong taking something from the weak, or pushing them off a cliff?
I also don’t understand it. If the topic is interesting and important enough, write an article about it, happy to read it. No need to add an unnecessary layer of a human presenting it - if that is needed for anybody to listen, then the topic is not worth our time
I e.g. some EU airports, you have separate lines for passport check by an officer, and lines for passport & face scan machines. This way you can choose which one to use, when you enter/exit the EU.
HL2’s lead designer grew up in Bulgaria, so Sofia is the inspiration for City 17, and the coast is the Black Sea coast, incl. at/near Odessa.
Agree, it’s like I had a feed for reading only instagram/facebook comments. No, thanks
Wow you’re right. I also noticed a flood of these post, and it’s really them posting dozens of times a day about this topic. Time to block OP
My 60+ mother was like that, until I convinced her to stop. Once she ordered a hat, didn’t like it, so tried to send it back. Temu just gave back her money, and told her to keep it. I bet it’s a quality product
That would work, if the EU hasn’t been sleeping on their defense, and relying on Daddy USA to protect Europe
What a coincidence that Elon Musk paid 100+ million for their campaign
I feel that a lot of the hate for Apple is not fully warranted. Contrary to Google or Facebook, their business model is not built on collecting your personal data. They are extremely overpriced, but deliver good quality - I am using my first iPhone for more than 4 years now, I never had and Android last nearly that long.
Nothing says you believe in free market competition more, than suing a another private business, trying to force them to give you money
