Oof… Yeah, there it is
Oof… Yeah, there it is
The funny thing is, if just won’t work. Ok, he says to do it. Some lackey goes off to do it. But someone has to sign the check. The money has to come from somewhere. That’s when the shit hits the fan.
Unless Congress does whatever he says like little lap dogs. Ok, yeah, I convinced myself now that it’ll happen.
Pepsi is using EV semis going cross county. Never say never
This is how ancient Egyptians prepared their dead
Oh yes. It’s quite horrible that adult animals need to work to survive.
It’s also quite horrible that I had kids and doomed them to a life of work, suffering from wrestling with mortality, and ultimately ending in death.
Treating animals like people isn’t the great thing you think it is.
At least chickens don’t have to do taxes.
That’s not fighting racism. Being not racist isn’t the same as being anti racist.
For example, do you think by existing in a capitalist society you’re also fighting socialism? How many wars are you winning in your head by doing nothing?
You’re doing so little that you can’t even stop using words that bother people, even when they said it bothers them.
You have a blessed and isolated life if there are zero words that can cause you emotional harm. This doesn’t mean you’re strong, it means you’re privileged. White privilege, in fact.
As for what I do? I give interviews to minority candidates when when their resume isn’t great. And it’s been a boon for my company because it turns out they’re really talented, but bad at resumes. I also spend time educating my fellow minimally melanated morons on the concept of systemic racism, and why simply doing nothing is not the same as being not racist. Hence we’re here.
I appreciate your intense emotion about the topic of changing terminology. It’s hard to wrangle in our feelings when things change.
I completely agree with your last statement. What have you done to accomplish that?
Mandatory social work sounds great. I’d love to spend a year working in the forest service, or even on city cleanup. Paid of course. But it builds love for your neighbors and country to help your community.
Seetor-gate. Because it’s German
That’s lovely.
Now I’ll never finish that history assignment…
Certainly. But very few people really do value investing anymore. Even professionals.
Stock investing isn’t about underlying value. The company itself is almost irrelevant. Stock investing is about predicting stock investor sentiment.
Quick, wedge crypto in there somehow! That should buy us at least two more rounds of investment.
I like Spotify. I don’t often want to listen to an album. I want to listen to a vibe. It’s good for that, and for introducing me to new bands and music.
But yeah, if you’re just using it to listen to one album at a time, and you know which album you want, then you’re using the wrong service.
Did you miss the part about it being an H1B employee?
I already am. I’ve started meeting people in my community and joining local aid groups to help out people who are falling through the cracks. I’ve gone to school meetings and pushed back on the screechy mom’s against reason.
Not everyone needs to burn down buildings. Not everyone should. Just pushing against the bad stuff and making them work for every inch helps.
I love a good portmanteau, but I’m sad this one exists.
Farm co-ops I think focus on local farms.
