That’s not what I’m talking about.
Seems reasonable to think part of the motivation is disrupting American tech like openAI
Hard drive manufactures would beg to differ lmao.
“One TB? You mean 657GB?”
I wonder if he realizes that’s because no one around him respects or likes him?
Is your point that JS doesn’t really need semicolons at all any more?
Speaking the truth
$10 says Trump influenced TikTok to go dark today to make him look better when it turns it back on tomorrow.
We all know they didn’t actually have to do this.
Ok I think this is a misunderstanding about what it means to “have tiktok”. If you mean in the context of your house sure.
But I had this same conversation with my parents. There is no reasonable way to actually prevent a kid from having access to tiktok in some contexts. Parents who say their kids don’t use tiktok because it’s not allowed at home are just incorrect.
My dad doesn’t get that when she hangs out with friends or goes to school, she IS seeing tiktok content.
Seems like we actually agree here though.

And all of their friends have the same firewalls when they go to hang out?
Not trying to be rude but it seems kinda naive.
My little sister is also not allowed on tiktok but she just uses it on her friend’s phones when they hang out.
Get this Reddit shit out of here
No, mine don’t have tiktok
Bet they do
Ehh, Freemasons are probably not religious in the sense you think they are. They all believe in god but are not necessarily of the same religious background.
Here gunshots just means someone is drunk (US city).
Gunshots? Where do you live that that’s not a regular thing?
This makes sense for devices like Google home where there is only one activation phrase but I don’t understand how an IC could exist that can respond to custom activation phrases.
Also are you saying that cellphones have this circuit too? I’m pretty darn sure that’s all software based.
How are they listening for the activation phrase then?
You don’t need to transmit the recording. Maybe not even a transcript. Just the keywords.
Should they really though?
Been daily driving Linux for 15+ years now.
I recently got a computer that officially supports Linux (framework 13). Running Fedora, an officially supported distro.
Had to literally compile C code just to change my touchpad scroll speed.
I love Linux and it’s improved a LOT over the years but there are still things that IMO make it not quite ready for average consumers.
