My rant wasn’t directed at you, delightful data distributor, just at the modern horrors. It certainly seems like a topic better explained by knowyourmeme or urbandictionary. The article is hilarious
This one is likely the worst example of brain rot. It’s so rarely interesting or thought provoking, it’s just boring. It could have been used as a vehicle for horrifically crass assholery, puns, or subversion, but somehow those ideas never manifested in the sweaty, illiterate discord servers where it was popularized. It’s the modern equivalent to “in bed” but subtracts that garbage joke’s infinitesimal contextual requirement in favor of maximizing bland ubiquity. That said, bussy can stay.
Strawmanning the open source federated social media enthusiast crowd as unaware fans of meta?
Leopards are actively eating my face but it’s probably fine. In fact, I’ll give the leopards several billion dollars and then they’ll like me. God, I’m lonely. But the leopards are always there.
picking fights they can’t win
Thaaat’s the scary part, they could win them twice or thrice over. If it were wholly bluster, it could be ignored. But it isn’t. It’s half obfuscation through flooding the field and half testing the waters.

How much would it cost to store like 100 petabytes for (conservatively) 40 years?
I’m curious about the dump. If trump were exactly idiot enough, he’d attempt to establish trumpbux as a secondary US currency. It’s hard to say whether he’ll try it.
Shit, we should also ban insta, fb, and google places while we’re at it.
.ml
There’s your problem. If they stated their rules, rather than forcing people to figure them out by trial and error, I’d have less of an issue with it. Like, lemmygrad is explicit in its intent and they state it outright in their rules. Lemmy.ml plays it too coy, and so comes off as incredibly manipulative.
Run for office and we’ll talk
Tug o war works because the rope is strong enough to withstand the pull. In online political tug o war, you’re the rope. Most people would naturally dislike the folks trying to turn them into rope.

It’s even more interesting than that!
It’s funny to remember that bricks used to be structurally relevant. Also, that’s a wild pattern on the broken windows. Looks like snowflakes
Pretty sure the change occurred when he fired his social media manager and began personally handling his online presence. You can’t just become this terrible in your 50s.
Satire’s dead, but I’d love to see a revival of both it and serious human existence within my lifetime c:
Tacking on, tile is cold and vinyl looks silly.
They’re a stepping stone more than a gimmick. I only have so much room in my pocket and a tablet doesn’t fit. Using a shoulder bag rather than the pocket sewn into the clothing I’m wearing is less ergonomic. When designers finally begin accepting my suggestion of shirts with built-in totes, we’ll no longer require foldables
Disable all internet functionality, set the time to the 1990s to prevent many timers from going off, attach the tv to another device that doesn’t have ads via your cable of choice. But why was your smart tv 1700? Did it have some special features?
