I was just thinking about how when this episode aired, it was only 20ish years after WW2 ended.

This was recent history to everyone, and they were already making social commentary about it here, as well as the episode where they go to the literal Nazi planet.

9/11 is further in the past for us than WW2 was for them.

I agree with what the commenters are saying in that thread about it being a shame for a big community to lose activity, but with regards to the original issue and the other screenshot you linked to, it seems like an admin temperament issue rather than an isolated incident. It’s hard to build a community when users have to be worried about an admin lashing out at them after a bad day, and I think trust needs to be earned back before I would want to contribute there again.

Ha, thanks. That damn starry backdrop was so annoying. There’s still a slight Elon-shaped cutout below Kirk’s armpit that I tried to cover up by sliding some of the backdrop from the right side over and adjusted the brightness to blend in.
